Jesus Triumphant Ministries (JTM) AKA The Emmanuel Church, reports it will be holding its annual program called Destiny Gathering. The program, according to the branch Pastor Favour Turay of the headquarters Church located at Allen Town, commenced on Tuesday December 13 and will end December 18. The program is set to start 18:00 UTC everyday for the dates mentioned.
Destiny Gathering is a divine moment that pulls together talents, create avenue for spiritual growth and understanding of the path to working in faith in Jesus Christ. The program show-cases youth talents in drama, singing and Bible recitations mostly undertaken by children and young adults.
Drawing from proclamations by the Eastern Regional Pastor, Rev. Morrison Karmon, this year’s Destiny Gathering is Themed-Grace for New Beginning. He asserts, the program will attract guest speakers and renowned men of God in Sierra Leonean Gospel including, Bishop, Dr. Archibald Cole, Bishop Dr. Julious Laggah, Archbishop Sterling Lands II (From the USA), Reverend Dr. Jeremiah Koroma (Nigeria) and Pastor Akmed Kamara (From the USA).
Looking at the program bill from JTM’s media team, the gathering will encompass various activities for spiritual growth including conferences beginning at 9:00am daily for the periods, December 14 to December 16. The program itself will be climaxed with an evening revival service beginning every 5:30 pm for the aforementioned program dates at the Church Headquarters located at Koroma Drive, Temne Town, Allen Town, Freetown. Following the weekday programs, Destiny Gathering will be graced at the end with a thanksgiving service on December 18 with the Host Bishop and General Overseer, His Grace, Bishop Raymond Wonder Johnson.
The humble and pragmatic Bishop Raymond Wonder Johnson, is the spiritual father to many Christians within Sierra Leone. He mentors regional pastors from all regions of Sierra Leone with Churches sprouting from the West, North, South and East of Sierra Leone. Like every Bishop, he is also fathered by Archbishop Sternly Lands II.
