Fatima Bio Enters Buckingham Palace in style in furtherance on her initiative in the fight for women and children.

First Lady, Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, joins Her Majesty Queen Consort Camilla at a major reception to raise awareness of Sexual & Gender Based Violence against Women and Girls at Buckingham Palace. She was invited to Buckingham Palace today along her counterpart, the Ukrainian First Lady H.E. Olena Zelenska amongst other royalties from Belgium, Jordan, Denmark and Luxemburg.

Queen Consort Camilla, Her Majesty of Great Britain, like H.E. Fatima Maada Bio, share similar record on Advocacy for the promotion and protection of Women and Girls. Haven ascended to the throne, she’ll now use her high royal platform to further her Advocacy efforts and today will be her first official meeting on women and girl’s advocacy since her husband’s ascent to the throne.

His Majesty, King Charles today twitted on the meeting of dignitaries propelling the cause on women’s advocacy stating “ a powerful house of women who have come together to take a stand against gender based violence convened by her majesty queen Camilla”.

The theme ‘UNITE to End Violence against Women’ campaign, is a 16-Days activism annual campaign that begins on 25 November, dubbed after the UN resolution as the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, and runs through to the International Human Rights Day on 10 December.

It is believed, following this, Her Majesty Queen Consort Camilla will host Her Excellency Dr. Fatima Maada Bio and other distinguished global personalities at Buckingham Palace to discuss further issues pertinent to the campaign.
